Dr. Carlo Panaro

Dr. Carlo Panaro is known in the Alberta community both for his medical practice and his professional sports career. He completed his residency training in Orthopedics in Edmonton (2006)  while playing professional football with the Edmonton Eskimos (2003) and Saskatchewan Roughriders (2001). He went on to complete two fellowships: The Orthopedic Research Foundation OrthoIndy Trauma Fellowship and The Hip Society European Fellowship in Hip Reconstruction.

 

Dr. Panaro currently performs trauma surgery, arthroplasty and general orthopedics specializing in lower extremity. He works with both the Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Football Club (formerly 

the Edmonton Eskimos) as an Orthopedic Surgery Consultant. Dr Panaro has up to date training as of 2020 for Independent Medical Examiners; he has worked in the medical-legal field for 10 years.
